We are seeking an experienced VDI Specialist to optimize the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and implement Outlook integration in a non-persistent desktop environment at Barksdale AFB. The role involves conducting assessments, implementing FSLogix, configuring Instant Clone desktop pools, and providing documentation and knowledge transfer.
Responsibilities :
Evaluate and optimize the existing VDI environment.
Implement solutions for Outlook offline data file (.ost) management.
Configure FSLogix and Instant Clone desktop pools.
Deliver project reports, updated topology diagrams, and quick reference guides.
Collaborate with government personnel and vendors.
Qualifications :
5 years of VDI experience, including FSLogix and Instant Clone configuration.
Familiarity with Outlook integration in non-persistent environments.
Strong technical and documentation skills (Visio, IP schema design).
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
