Job Description: As a Software Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our current customer base and transitioning existing clients from our legacy software to Fence Cloud. You’ll use your expertise in sales to engage with a wide audience, build relationships that deliver leads, explore partnerships, and manage day-to-day sales efforts to maximize reach and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a scalable sales strategy using one-to-many methods such as webinars, product demos, partnerships, in-person events and online events.
- Educate potential customers about the benefits of transitioning to Fence Cloud, addressing their needs and pain points.
- Collaborate with marketing to design compelling sales materials.
- Proactively manage leads generated from campaigns, following up to convert them into opportunities and closed deals.
- Track and report on key metrics, providing insights to improve sales processes and drive revenue growth.
- Build relationships with customers, understanding their goals and ensuring their long-term success with our software.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with one-to-many sales strategies, including webinars, group presentations, and automated outreach.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse audience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple leads and activities simultaneously.
- Tech-savvy with experience using email, CRM tools (ex: Zoho) and presentation software.

What Your Day Will Look Like:
This sales position involves a mix of one-on-one and one-to-many interactions with prospective clients. Your typical day will include:
- Brainstorming and executing new one-to-many sales strategies, such as webinars and group presentations.
- Conducting one-on-one product demos via Zoom to address specific customer needs.
- Building meaningful relationships with industry consultants and influencers to drive referrals and brand advocacy.
- Becoming thoroughly familiar with Fence Cloud’s features and benefits to effectively communicate its value to customers.
- Utilizing our CRM system, Zoho, to track sales activities, manage leads, and monitor progress.
Our busy season is usually November through March, and our slow season is typically April through October (which makes it easy to take time off during the summer). This position requires you to work in office in Billings, MT with occasional travel.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm (flexible on time for childcare)
Wages: $20.00 / hr. with an opportunity to negotiate a commission structure after a year.
