Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a remote D365 Production Planner for an opportunity with one of our premier clients in Chicago, IL. This contract position is a remote position that requires minimal travel when needed.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented D365 Production Planner. The ideal candidate will have expertise in production planning and scheduling processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP systems. Ensuring efficient production workflows, optimizing inventory levels, and meeting delivery timelines while leveraging the capabilities of D365. Offering expertise in Supply Chain Management or Finance and Operations modules, to plan and manage production operations within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning : Develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules using the D365 system to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Demand Forecasting : Collaborate with the sales, procurement, and inventory teams to forecast demand and align production plans accordingly.
- ERP Management : Configure and manage the production planning module in D365, ensuring the system supports operational goals.
- Capacity Planning : Analyze production capacity and adjust schedules to meet production goals while minimizing downtime and bottlenecks.
- Inventory Control : Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts, ensuring accurate system data.
- Reporting : Generate and analyze production performance reports and KPIs from D365 to support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and quality assurance, to address operational challenges and streamline workflows.
- Process Improvement : Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity in manufacturing operations.
