Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Vice President of Finance for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Healthcare clients in Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities :
- ccounting operations, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and audit schedules.
- Contractual allowance calculations, third party reserves, Medicare / Medicaid / BCBS cost reports, GME reimbursement, revenue budgets, maximum revenue opportunities within Medicare and Medicaid regulations and managed care contracts.
- Functional systems support for corporate finance, decision support and budget office.
- ccounting for research and fund activity. Compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Drawdown of available funds via NIH.
- Inventory, depreciation, construction accounting, payables.
- Student loans, tuition payments, accounting, budgets.
- Federal and State tax compliance and reporting.
- Collection and accounting for medical center receipts.
- Payment of vendor obligations.
- Payroll
- External Audit.
- Executive analysis and commentary for all financial reports issued.
- Monitors latest developments in accounting practices and pronouncements and assess their impact and applicability to the firm
- External financial reporting for the obligated group. Accounting reviews and positions on significant transactions. External financial statements for bondholders, bankers, and rating agencies.
- Joint Venture Finance representative
- Monitor and Review Joint Venture Accounting
- Finance representative on divestiture transactions. Valuation, negotiation, and divestiture.
- Leading corporate projects.
