Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an IT PMO for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Jersey City, NJ (Onsite 3x week).

Responsibilities:
- Run program governance, provide visibility to management on portfolio and project status during steering committees
- Provide operational support to project managers, producing a summary of the project portfolio, ensure that project commitments are clearly defined and monitored (budget, schedule, risks, etc.)
- Handle program administration, including resource/expense management and budget forecasting
- Help coordinate the PMO community
- 15 years of experience in IT/Cyber Project and program Management managing mid to large-scale projects as well as handling a variety of projects, along with documentation and presentation experience (Committee, Decks, Portfolio reviews, business requirements, process flows, procedures, GAP analysis)
- Must demonstrate experience in managing complex IT/Cyber projects involving dozens stakeholders across a diverse IT and business environment.
- Must be comfortable with presenting to staff and managers alike.
- Must demonstrate good leadership skills and be able to drive complex changes as well as coordinate the effort of dozens of stakeholders towards a single goal.
- Responsible for the management of significant projects (e.g., strategic change management, new business and product initiatives, process re-engineering, establishment of control procedures) on a firm-wide scale.
- Responsible for the tools and methods of Six Sigma, including DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), DFSS (Design for Six Sigma), Process Management, Lean, and Project Selection
- Financial industry experience is an advantage
- Proficiency in Sharepoint, Excel and Powerpoint
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written (French communication skills is a plus)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to identify and resolve issues and conflicts
- Ability to work in autonomy and fulfilling tight deadlines
- Ability to write and present meaningful status reports
