Compensation: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year plus a signing bonus

Director of Nursing / Cath Lab

Compensation: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year plus a signing bonus
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Coordinate program development in the Cath Lab aligning with the hospital’s business plan and objectives.
- Oversee and direct multiple cost centers/departments to achieve hospital and integrated network goals.
- Develop and evaluate proposed procedural changes related to patient care and direct their implementation.
- Monitor profit and loss, revenue generation, and expenditure control, adjusting staffing and resources to optimize operations and manage costs effectively.
- Act as an advisory capacity in procedural settings and ensure compliance with Standards of Care.
- Lead initiatives that enhance patient care, staff development, and departmental efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field, Master’s degree preferred.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid Texas RN license with current state registration.
- BLS certification, and certifications required by staff nurses in managed areas.
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role within healthcare.
- Proven capability in hospital operations, staff management, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- MSN or master’s degree in a healthcare related field.
- More than 2 years of progressive management experience in a large hospital environment.
- Experience directly managing Cath Lab operations or similar units.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to communicate, mediate, and problem-solve with colleagues, patients, and medical staff.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to act as a role model and advocate for nursing as a professional discipline.
- Ability to drive strategic planning and implementation in complex clinical settings.
