Director of Nursing / Cath Lab

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced nursing professional to lead our Cath Lab as the Director of Nursing. This pivotal role involves coordinating program development, overseeing multiple cost centers/departments, and ensuring compliance with standards of care that promote optimal health care delivery. Compensation: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year plus a signing bonus

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Coordinate program development in the Cath Lab aligning with the hospital’s business plan and objectives.
• Oversee and direct multiple cost centers/departments to achieve hospital and integrated network goals.
• Develop and evaluate proposed procedural changes related to patient care and direct their implementation.
• Monitor profit and loss, revenue generation, and expenditure control, adjusting staffing and resources to optimize operations and manage costs effectively.
• Act as an advisory capacity in procedural settings and ensure compliance with Standards of Care.
• Lead initiatives that enhance patient care, staff development, and departmental efficiency.
  
  

Minimum Position Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field, Master’s degree preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid Texas RN license with current state registration.
• BLS certification, and certifications required by staff nurses in managed areas.
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role within healthcare.
• Proven capability in hospital operations, staff management, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• MSN or master’s degree in a healthcare related field.
• More than 2 years of progressive management experience in a large hospital environment.
• Experience directly managing Cath Lab operations or similar units.
