This role focuses on handling complex wage-hour class action claims and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) cases. As a Litigation Associate, you will lead cases from inception to resolution, offering a unique opportunity to develop under the mentorship of experienced partners within a collaborative atmosphere that prioritizes professional growth and work-life balance. Salary : $220,000.00 - $260,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Comprehensive management of California wage-hour class action claims and PAGA cases.
- Draft and respond to discovery, initial pleadings, motions, and other pertinent legal documents.
- Take and defend depositions as a primary representative of the firm.
- Engage in settlement negotiations and represent clients effectively in court.
- Collaborate with a team on multiple overlapping projects, ensuring precise execution and adherence to timelines.
- Develop strategies and legal arguments for a successful outcome in complex cases.
