We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Engineer to join our leading international paper-based packaging company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all environmental record-keeping and reporting requirements.
- Liaise between departments to implement environmental policies and procedures effectively.
- Conduct thorough environmental data collection and analysis to guide strategic decisions.
- Perform environmental impact assessments for current and proposed site activities.
- Devise and oversee strategies to minimize human adverse effects on the environment.
- Champion water and air conservation initiatives, including recycling programs.
- Proactively identify, address, and manage environmental compliance issues.
- Provide technical support and expert advice to project teams.
- Lead the development and execution of sustainability reports and manage the ISO 14001 system.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support the department and company goals.
