Our client currently has Salesforce CRM Applications and are currently evaluating their Sales and Marketing journey to evaluate Salesforce vs other CRM solutions across the US and Canada
Looking for core CRM (Sales customer account management, forecasting, account planning, pipeline management, etc.) within manufacturing companies and strong change management experience
This position will work closely with the existing Sales and Marketing business and technical teams to review and manage the existing Salesforce CRM initiatives, and advise on the direction of their CRM software solutions
This is a CRM focused PM, so should know the core Sales functionality within manufacturing companies:
Customer Account Management
Key Account Planning
Lead management
Pipeline Management
Forecasting
Performance measurement
Also need someone with strong Change Management experience and best practices
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled CRM Project Manager with a proven track record of managing multiple Salesforce and other CRM software implementations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of core Sales functionality, including Customer Account Management, Key Account Planning, Lead Management, Pipeline Management, Forecasting, and Performance Measurement.
This role requires strong project management expertise, stakeholder collaboration, and change management leadership to drive CRM adoption and business success. The CRM Project Manager will work closely with business users, stakeholders, and leadership to gather and document requirements, define project scope, establish timelines, and ensure accountability for deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
CRM Implementation & Business Process Optimization
Lead Salesforce and other CRM software implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Evaluate existing CRM platforms and sales processes, identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements.
Ensure CRM solutions effectively support Customer Account Management, Key Account Planning, Lead Management, Pipeline Management, Forecasting, and Performance Measurement.
Work closely with IT, Sales, and Marketing teams to design, configure, and deploy CRM solutions that meet business needs.
Assess and recommend third-party CRM tools and integrations where appropriate.
Project Management & Execution
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress and ensuring timely execution.
Oversee system configuration, testing, training, and deployment activities, ensuring seamless transitions.
Identify project risks and mitigation strategies to prevent disruptions.
Ensure all documentation, including project plans, status reports, and issue logs, is maintained and up to date.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
Work closely with business users, sales teams, and leadership to gather and document business requirements.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to define CRM objectives, success metrics, and best practices.
Implement change management best practices to drive user adoption and ensure a smooth transition to new systems.
Provide training, documentation, and support to end users, ensuring CRM solutions are fully leveraged.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
5 years of experience in CRM Project Management, with a strong focus on Salesforce and other CRM software implementations.
In-depth understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and key sales functionalities, including Customer Account Management, Key Account Planning, Lead Management, Pipeline Management, Forecasting, and Performance Measurement.
Proven experience leading CRM assessments, solution recommendations, and business process optimizations.
Strong organizational and assertiveness skills to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
Expertise in business requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
Deep knowledge of change management principles and best practices to drive user adoption.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
Preferred:
Salesforce certifications (Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, or PMP/Agile certifications).
Experience with third-party CRM integrations, automation tools, and sales performance management solutions.
Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
Experience working with large sales organizations and enterprise-level CRM solutions.
