Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing evaluations of technology solutions and capabilities to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Identify areas of risk, while monitoring the current environment, potential improvement areas, and the financial implications of those decisions.
- Gather, validate, document, and facilitate implementation of business requirements for technology initiatives (includes business/data requirements, data flows, data modeling, workflow context and design, and user interface designs).
- Participate in user acceptance testing and support system training/documentation.
- Form strong working relationships with internal users - both business and technical.
- Ability to balance responsibilities related to production support and project tasks simultaneously.
- Create documentation in support of business and technology requests.
- Manage Workday releases, testing, and system upgrades, ensuring smooth adoption of new features.
Technology Experience:
- Strong expertise in supporting Workday Financials.
- Expertise building integrations to/from Workday and XML transformations required.
- Expertise in SQL required.
- Prior experience in financial reporting and analytics a plus.
- Prior experience supporting Corporate functional areas such as Human Resources, Corporate Finance, Compliance, Tax or Legal a plus.
- Familiarity with technology architectures and concepts: cloud computing, web interfaces, relational databases, application integration.
- Hands-on experience understanding business requirements, designing, prototyping, testing solutions, and training users in an agile environment.
- Experience working in teams using agile software project management processes.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in supporting & implementing applications.
- Proficiency in business intelligence applications (Tableau or Power BI) a plus.
- Competent in taking details from elicitation sessions and delivering requirements documentation.
- Competent in developing workflow and functional Use Cases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, management information systems, and/or finance or business.
- 3 years of relevant experience; previous consulting experience a plus.
- Workday certifications in relevant modules a plus.
- Experience with Workday Prism Analytics, Workforce Planning, Strategic Sourcing, Extend, or Studio integrations a plus.
- Experience with investment management, private equity, venture capital, alternatives investment/finance concepts/terminology and systems a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyze complex data and present actionable insights.
- Experience with a functionally diverse, informed user base that demands high-quality solutions.
- A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and idea generation.
- Must be able to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritize assignments to deliver quality work in a timely manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
