Main Duties
Hotel Front Desk
- Primary point of initial contact for members, guests, and staff, and must ensure all visitors are welcomed with open arms and provided with top-notch service from the moment they enter a Soho House & Co property.
- Expert in performing all concierge duties as required, including, but not limited to, booking cars, tickets to shows, restaurant reservations, spa reservations, etc.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Use Opera and other hotel systems to process reservations and guest requests.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and urgency.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, room types, and membership offerings.
- Process payments, manage invoices, and handle financial transactions securely and efficiently.
- Greet and check in spa and gym guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Assist clients with scheduling appointments, class bookings, and membership inquiries.
- Provide detailed knowledge about spa treatments, gym services, and product offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception areas, locker rooms, and spa facilities.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries professionally.
- Assist therapists and trainers with preparation and setup for services and sessions.
- Previous experience in hospitality, spa, or front desk roles preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in booking and management software (Opera, Book4Time, OpenTable, Salesforce, etc.) preferred.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards.
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands.
- Must be able to make periodic, fast-paced movements to move from one part of the property to another.
- Must be able to move, pull, push, carry, or lift at least 30 pounds.
- Must be able to occasionally kneel, bend, crouch, and climb is required.
- Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, cleaning, and stooping.
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time.
