Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description
We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work under physician direction using radioactive materials for diagnosis and treatment of human disease.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works under the direction of a physician using radioactive materials for diagnosis and treatment of human disease.
- Prepares dosages of radioactive materials, administers to patients, operates nuclear instruments, and prepares test information for the physician.
- Follows instructions and performs other duties as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School education required.
- Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS), or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS) certification.
Work Schedule:
- This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday 7am-3pm with some flexibility possible.
Please note that this job requires 40 hours per week of work with an 8-hour shift on days.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Pharmacy, or a related field.
