Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine and be able to work under the direction of a physician using radioactive materials for diagnosis and treatment of human disease.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare dosages of radioactive materials, administer to patients, operate nuclear instruments, and prepare test information for the physician.
- Follow instructions and perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
Requirements
- High School education required.
- Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS), American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS), or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS) certification.
- At least 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine, nuclear pharmacy, or related field.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position with a standard Monday through Friday schedule from 7am-3pm. Some flexibility may be possible.
