Ranch Hand

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Ranch Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors and experience with equipment maintenance, and general farm operations. This role requires physical stamina, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with others on the ranch.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily care and management of livestock, ensuring their health and well-being.
• Operate and maintain farm equipment, including tractors and forklifts.
• Perform routine repairs on equipment and tools to ensure optimal functionality.
• Utilize hand tools for various tasks around the ranch, including fencing, gardening, and general maintenance.
• Engage in heavy lifting tasks related to feeding animals, moving supplies, or maintaining the property.
• Keep accurate records of animal health, feed usage, and equipment maintenance using basic math skills.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Familiarity with hand tools and garden maintenance practices.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly throughout the day.
• Basic math skills for record keeping and inventory management.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not required; training may be provided.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to teamwork and collaboration on the ranch.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
