What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interior Design Team Member position at SOL Design Studio, LLC?
Sol Design Studio is seeking a full-time Interior Design professional, licensed or nonregistered, who has completed a professional interior design degree program with 3-5 years of commercial experience to join our team.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of hand drawn and computer-aided design, drafting skills, planning skills and programming.
- Knowledge of design trends, construction methodology, architectural/interior finishes, furniture, fixture and equipment (FF&E), lighting, colors and materials to carry out the design intent.
- Knowledge of Building Codes.
- Ability to prioritize to ensure projects are completed on time, within the budget, of high quality and fulfill client expectations.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Revit, Enscape, AutoCAD, Adobe Suites (InDesign and Photoshop), Microsoft Office, Bluebeam.
- Professional registration preferred or expected to work towards Florida Interior Designer license.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the design team to assist in the overall effort of completing various project phases.
- Complete interior design assignments, manage clients and prepare and participate in client meetings.
- Produce and develop conceptual plans, presentation boards, source images, materials and furniture, 3D renderings, construction documents, review production drawings and aid in project close-out.
- Mentor and direct the work of less experienced staff.
