About the Role
Are you an experienced HR professional looking to make an impact in the non-profit sector? We’re seeking an HR Manager to join our mission-driven organization.
This is a standalone HR role, reporting directly to the CEO, where you'll have a voice in shaping policies and supporting a dedicated team of 30 employees.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Retention – Hiring and supporting key staff
- Benefits & Payroll Administration – Managing enrollments, renewals, and payroll processes
- Employee Relations – Coaching, engagement, and recognition initiatives
- Compliance & Legal – Supporting unemployment claims, ACA compliance, and HR policies
- HR Projects & Strategy – Collaborating with leadership and implementing and presenting personnel policies
Qualifications
- 4-year degree (field of study flexible)
- 3-5 years of HR experience (non-profit preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with payroll processes (direct experience not required but must understand the function)
- Strong generalist skills in benefits, recruiting, and employee relations

Pay range and compensation package
Compensation: $30-35/hr.
Worksite Details:
Hybrid - 3 days in office with 2 days working from home each week.
