Sol Systems is seeking an Asset Management Analyst that will support the Asset Management Group’s work on behalf of its third-party institutional investor clients and company owned solar projects. The Asset Management Group supports Sol's strategic vision by monitoring the company’s direct investments, managing market, financial, and regulatory exposure from existing contracts and new projects, and advising the company on strategic initiatives. The Group also helps Sol’s clients manage their solar investments through transaction monitoring, performance monitoring, financial analysis and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities
- Designing and maintaining investor reports by utilizing solar data systems, partner reports, financial reporting systems, and advanced Microsoft office tools
- Producing PPA invoices and delivering to energy offtake customers
- Managing vendor invoices to ensure accuracy of the invoiced expenses and on-time payment
- Ensuring compliance with commercial agreements such as loan contracts, power purchase agreements, and renewable energy incentive programs
- Investigating sources of underperformance of utility and distributed generation solar assets using remote data acquisition systems and providing guidance to stakeholders
- Supporting in analysis of tax equity financial structures to provide guidance to management and investor partners on tax structuring and financial results
- Performing credit analysis on utility, financial, and solar developer counterparties
- Assisting with the favorable resolution of operational issues and contractual disputes and communicating complex technical or financial issues to investors and other stakeholders
- Providing regular financial updates to investors on project performance and financial returns
- Participating in regular meetings with investors and counterparties
- Supporting other Asset Management Group functions as needed
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; preferably in finance, economics or business
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to succinctly summarize complex financial and technical issues, both in writing and verbally
- Ability to organize and manage workflows across different teams and individuals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Flexibility and ability to work in a small office, open floor plan environment
- Positive attitude in stressful situations
- Experience in asset management, energy and/or project finance
- Experience with financial modeling
- Working knowledge of Power BI
