Elementary School Learning Support Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment for students, guiding them through their academic journey while promoting social, emotional, and physical development. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the diverse needs of students.
• Utilize various teaching methods and learning technologies to enhance student understanding and participation.
• Provide individualized tutoring and support to students who require additional assistance in subjects such as Math and Physical Education.
• Monitor student progress and behavior management, providing constructive feedback to encourage growth.
• Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, cooperation, and positive interactions among students.
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and administration to support student development and address any concerns regarding childhood development or early intervention needs.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and curriculum development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; Special Education PA teaching certification required.
• Experience in classroom management, tutoring, or childcare settings is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles and effective behavior management strategies.
• Ability to develop age-appropriate curriculum that fosters learning across various subjects including Math and Physical Education.
• Proficient in using learning technology tools to enhance classroom instruction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for all students.
