The Program Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of key projects within the solar energy sector. This role will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines and budgets, ensuring project deliverables align with company goals, and driving the success of solar energy initiatives. The Program Manager will be instrumental in aligning technical, operational, and financial aspects of projects to deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
A successful candidate must be able to:
Lead the end-to-end management of solar energy projects, from planning and design to execution and delivery.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk management strategies.
Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high-quality standards.
Track and manage program milestones, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, operations, sales, etc.) and external stakeholders (contractors, customers, regulatory bodies).
Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate regular program status meetings and provide reports on project progress, key metrics, risks, and any deviations from plans.
Manage expectations and keep stakeholders informed of key decisions, progress, and potential challenges.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
Identify potential risks and issues related to projects and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
Troubleshoot project challenges and resolve issues in real-time to prevent disruptions to timelines or budgets.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards throughout the program lifecycle.
Monitor project budgets and track expenditures to ensure financial discipline throughout the project.
Collaborate with finance teams to report financial performance against project forecasts, addressing any variances.
Seek out opportunities to optimize resources and reduce project costs while maintaining quality and safety.
Lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization, ensuring effective collaboration and accountability for delivering program objectives.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project team members, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training and development plans to improve team skills and capabilities.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within project and program management practices.
Develop and implement best practices, frameworks, and tools to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of solar energy project delivery.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements within the solar energy sector.

Qualifications:

Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Experience in managing budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
