What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Supervisor position at Solar 76?
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for executing the day-to-day incoming and outgoing product flow and provides direction for all warehouse activities and team members.
A successful candidate must be able to:
Ensure accurate and timely shipping and receiving of all products.
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
Optimize employee workflow.
Organize and maintain order processing area.
Implement QC procedures and execute accordingly.
Train, guide, and evaluate new warehouse workers.
All other duties assigned.
A successful candidate will demonstrate:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, leading by example with customer interactions.
Constantly work to improve processes.
Make suggestions for productivity improvement.
Attention to detail is a must, specifically with both part numbers and counts.
Ability to work under deadlines to ensure workflow efficiency.
Self-motivated and priority balanced.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
3 years of warehouse or logistics experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role or related experience.
Physical Requirements:
WH- This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting 100 lbs, bending, stooping, computer work, and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations.
