What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Solar Installation Technician position at Solar Gain Inc?
Do you have at least one year of experience installing solar systems? Join our Residential Team and work as part of a crew. This role will focus on laying out the solar array and safely installing racking equipment on rooftops for complete solar system installations.
Job Specifications and Requirements:
- Professional appearance and a clean driving record (no DUI's for five years)
- Ability to build and plumb solar panel arrays.
- Understand low/high voltage systems and NEC regulations
- Willingness to travel around the greater Tucson area, and occasionally as far south as Nogales.
This position is classified as SAFETY SENSITIVE. It involves exposure to extreme weather conditions while operating heavy equipment and tools on rooftops. It requires being alert and identifying and reporting safety hazards. Work on or near energized electrical equipment, which poses the risk of electric shock or arc flash. Employees must undergo comprehensive training and demonstrate full comprehension before commencing any on-site activities.
