WHAT TO EXPECT AS AN APPRENTICE SOLAR INSTALLER
In this entry-level position, you are excited to begin your career in the innovative clean energy industry! You work alongside our experienced techs, closely observing what they do, retrieving essential tools and materials, and performing tasks as directed. Before installing anything, you carefully review job plans to learn the details of the project. Then, you help mount and install various photovoltaic equipment and electrical hardware in the desired locations.
Whether you're completing work on the ground, in a home, or on a rooftop, you always prioritize safety and accuracy. Before leaving a site, you test the installation to ensure everything is clean, functional, and firmly secured. WHAT MAKES OUR APPRENTICE SOLAR INSTALLERS SHINE
- 1 years of experience in solar
- Basic proficiency with hand tools
- Ability to perform the physical functions of the job, including working outside in all types of Arizona weather, climbing, and lifting up to 75 pounds
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
