Job Summary
We are seeking a Experienced Solar Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Solar design and Battery Design proficiency in various design software.
Responsibilities
- Understand core solar and battery design concepts.
- Create layouts with proper roof layout and fire code set backs
- Collaborate with contractors, other team members and engineer to ensure project completion.
- Conduct thorough reviews of design plans for accuracy.
- Maintain organized documentation of design processes and revisions.
Experience
- Proficiency in Sketch-Up and Layout as well as some excel experience.
- Experience with working on corrections from AHJ's and looking up code references.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration.
The hours are some what flexible and we are happy help ensure a healthy work/life balance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
