Job Description
Solar Supply Inc. is a leading HVAC distributor with 64 branches across 6 states along the Gulf coast. This local and family-owned distributor has over 70 years of experience in delivering quality HVAC equipment and outstanding customer service to contractors across our distribution area.
We are looking to add someone to our team to lead our New Orleans/Northshore area branches Inside Sales division. The primary responsibilities in this position include but are not limited to, leading the branches Inside Sales staff in developing and overseeing plans to increase sales and branch profitability. This position will work directly with the Territory Manager and the branch managers to develop plans that include maximizing profits, increasing sales and proper inventory management procedures by training, assisting and overseeing the sales staff with goals and procedures designed to help the branch grow. You will also work directly with the managers in assisting with the streamlining of daily branch operations while maintaining constant and efficient communication with the corporate offices and the Territory manager. Duties in this area include daily email communications, warranty processing, prompt product receiving and entering into our system, as well as implementing prompt billing practices and making sure daily operations adhere strictly to company policies and procedures.
The key skills that are required and are needed to be successful in this position are as follows. You must be a confident leader who is sales and customer service oriented with a friendly personality, with a focus on inventory management practices. You should be eager to learn, focused and able to multitask along with having excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with other team members.
Some general computer knowledge and experience is required. You must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from work. Previous forklift experience is helpful but not a requirement, as we can train the right individual.
Prior HVAC Inside Sales management is strongly preferred in this position but it is not a requirement. Pay scale is DOE, with pay ranges starting from $50,000 to $55,000 yearly.
