What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Phlebotomist position at Solaris Diagnostics?
We are a rapidly growing clinical laboratory seeking a reliable and experienced phlebotomist who takes pride in their work and is passionate about patient care. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of phlebotomy experience with at least 6 months of experience in geriatric or difficult blood draws. The mobile phlebotomist will drive the course of a predetermined route or as assigned to draw blood from elderly or compromised patients in a variety of settings.

- Traveling to assigned location(s) to collect patient samples
- Properly verify patient identity and label specimens appropriately
- Process specimens and prepare for transport to the laboratory
- With strong attention to detail completely, and accurately complete all logs and documentation prior to end of shift
- Follow all company policies, infection control, OSHA & HIPPA guidelines
- Open availability and be able to start working as early as 0200
- Clean background & MVR
- Driver's License & Vehicle insurance
- Reliable transportation and smart phone
- Positive attitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
