Job Title : LPN Part Time - Evenings
Job Specialty : Long-Term Care LPN
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 3 evenings per week, 8 hours per shift
Guaranteed Hours : 24 hours per week
Experience : 1 year of experience as an LPN in an LTC or CNA capacity
License : LPN Licensure
Certifications : BLS
Must-Have : High School Diploma or GED
Job Description :
- Provide direct and indirect designated care under nursing personnel direction, within certification-defined scope.
- Meet residents' ADL (Activities of Daily Living) needs per plan of care in a safe environment, including hygiene, grooming, and toileting. Complete documentation as per protocol.
- Maintain residents' environment and safety according to the care plan, including responding promptly to call lights and alarms, ensuring cleanliness, and monitoring equipment.
- Address residents' nutritional needs as outlined in the plan of care, including meal delivery, tray preparation, and respecting residents' preferences. Complete documentation as per protocol.
- Support residents' rehabilitative needs, including range of motion, ambulation, transfers, and assistive device use, according to the care plan.
- Report residents' rights, refusals, and concerns promptly to the supervising nurse. Identify and report any changes in residents' status.
- Stay aware of occupational exposure risks to bloodborne pathogens and complete necessary contact tasks with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
