VocoVision is currently seeking enthusiastic Special Education Teachers to provide virtual services to students in the Concord area. Our company specializes in connecting qualified special education professionals with students through innovative remote learning solutions.

Position Overview

This virtual teaching position typically involves 37.5 hours per week working with students who require specialized instruction and accommodations. You'll serve as a vital resource for students with disabilities in a flexible, tech-forward learning environment.

Student Demographics

  • Middle and High School students (Grades 6-12)
  • Multi-categorical support for students with:
  • Specific Learning Disabilities
  • Emotional/Behavioral Disorders
  • Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Intellectual Disabilities

  • Caseload ranging from 40-55 students dependent on complexity Essential Functions
  • Develop comprehensive Individualized Education Programs
  • Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student IEP goals
  • Provide supplemental academic support in core subject areas
  • Implement appropriate accommodations and modifications
  • Monitor and document student progress toward IEP objectives
  • Collaborate with general education teachers on curriculum adaptations
  • Facilitate virtual meetings with parents and stakeholders
  • Conduct regular assessments to measure student growth
  • Maintain accurate special education records and documentation
  • Master's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Current New Hampshire Special Education certification
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a school setting
  • Proficiency with digital learning platforms and educational technology
  • Knowledge of evidence-based instructional practices for diverse learners
  • Experience with transition planning for secondary students
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to engage students effectively in a virtual environment
  • Reliable computer with webcam capability
  • High-speed internet connection
  • Quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions
  • Proficiency with learning management systems
  • Familiarity with assistive technology tools
