ESL Teacher
Location : Stanley, NC
Start : ASAP
Caseload : 12 students, part-time
Responsibilities :
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with state standards.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Assess and evaluate student performance, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school staff to support student development and address any concerns.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
Educational Requirements :
Bachelors degree in Education, English, or a related subject.
Relevant coursework in child development, instructional methods, and curriculum design.
Certification Requirements :
Valid NCteaching certificate for ESL.
Endorsements or additional certifications may be required based on specific grade levels or subject areas.
