Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Yuma, AZ. This full-time position is ideal for a skilled COTA who enjoys working with elementary-aged students. You will assist the Occupational Therapist in providing therapeutic services to support students' educational goals, helping them develop fine motor skills, self-care activities, and classroom participation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in evaluating students needs and implementing treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services to students based on their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive environment for students.
• Document student progress and communicate effectively with the therapy team and families.
  
  

Requirements

• Active Arizona state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
