Responsibilities:
Provide mental health support and counseling to students with behavioral, social, or emotional concerns
Conduct assessments to determine students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Respond promptly to crises involving students, utilizing de-escalation techniques and immediate support to ensure safety and stability in the school environment.
Facilitate small group sessions focused on specific topics; grief, anxiety, or social skills.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work
Experience working with Prek-2nd grade students
Valid IL state license as License Masters Social Worker (LMSW), and a PEL License
1 years of experience in school social work, school counselor, or related field
CPI Certification preferred (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
