Soliant invites you to make a meaningful impact at a reputable hospital in Northern California. This position requires current inpatient-hospital experience including solid IV experience. Must hold an active/clear CA licensure.
Travel Contract Overview:
- Position: Inpatient/IVPharmacy Technician
- Location:Northern California
- Setting:Hospital - Inpatient
- Schedule:5x8
- Duration:13 Weeks (Possible Temp-to-Hire)
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and pound Medications: Accurately prepare IV solutions, sterile products, and oral medications while adhering to hospital protocols and infection control standards.
- Dispense Medications: Provide medications to hospital units, verify dosages, and prepare medications for specialized treatments such as PCA and infusion therapies.
- Manage Inventory: Oversee medication inventory, including ordering, stocking, and handling controlled substances, and ensure proper storage and rotation.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with pharmacists, nurses, and other staff to support effective medication management and assist in developing medication protocols.
- Maintain Records and pliance: Keep accurate records of medication orders and inventory, adhere to safety and legal regulations, and participate in ongoing training and professional development.
What Were Looking For:
- California Pharmacy Technician License:Must be valid and current.
- Hospital Experience:at least 2 years of recent inpatient experience preferred including IV experience
- Full-Time Availability:mitment to a 13 week contract duration
- Attention to Detail:Strong focus on accuracy and patient care.
