Job Summary :
We are currently hiring School Psychologists to join our team. We have 3 positions available for full-time roles working onsite with elementary students. Each psychologist will have a caseload of 20-40 students and will provide a range of psychological services, including assessments, counseling, and consultation, to support the emotional and academic development of students. The positions are available immediately and run through June 13, 2025.
Qualifications :
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
Active state licensure as a School Psychologist in Connecticut.
Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in a school setting, is preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct psychological assessments for students in elementary grades.
Provide individual and group counseling to support students mental health and emotional well-being.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions and accommodations.
Assist in developing and monitoring Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Provide crisis intervention as needed and help develop behavioral plans for students.
Offer consultation and training to school staff regarding student mental health, behavior management, and academic support.
Maintain accurate documentation and reports for assessments, counseling sessions, and student progress.
