Job Details:

• Position: Pharmacist
• Location: Norwich, NY

Duties:

• Register with the state board of pharmacy as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
• Maintain the pharmacy in compliance with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Oversee the entire pharmacy operation to achieve financial goals, including budget, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Participate in business development activities in the store and community.
• Manage pharmacy support personnel, including job performance and reviews.
• Guide and train pharmacy associates, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.
• Ensure completion of all company-required training by pharmacy associates.
• Participate in patient-centered services, including immunization, MTM, and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and medical providers on the nature and use of drugs, dosage, drug interactions, and side effects, monitoring patient health to ensure compliance and optimize therapies.
• Maintain and participate in continuous quality improvement programs to ensure patient safety.
• Use professional judgment to provide exemplary service within the pharmacists scope of practice.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to company standards at all times.
• Maintain department facilities consistent with legal and company standards.
• Complete continuing education programs as required by state law.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
  
  

Qualifications:

• License: NY Licensed Pharmacist
• Certification: Immunization Certification (Required)
• Skills: Must be comfortable giving all vaccines (Required)Ability to travel
