Soliant Education, a leading staffing company specializing in educational healthcare services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Registered Nurse (RN) for a full school year position. This opportunity is onsite, providing direct care and support to students. The position requires 3 days a week commitment.
Responsibilities: As a School RN, you will play a critical role in promoting the health and well-being of students. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing direct nursing care to students, including administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and managing health conditions.
- Assessing and responding to medical emergencies and providing appropriate first aid.
- Collaborating with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions.
- Conducting health screenings and maintaining accurate health records.
- Educating students, staff, and parents on health-related topics and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Requirements: To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Previous experience in pediatric nursing or school nursing is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical conditions commonly seen in school-aged children and experience managing healthcare procedures and protocols.
