Key Responsibilities
- Assist SLPs in conducting assessments and screenings of students with speech and language disorders.
- Implement therapy plans and interventions as directed by the SLP.
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
- Document and track student progress and provide regular updates to the supervising SLP.
- Assist with the development of educational materials and resources for therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support students communication needs in the classroom.
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field (Bachelors degree preferred).
- Current SLPA licensure or certification in MA.
- Experience working with children in an educational or clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt and respond to the diverse needs of students.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and therapy tools.
