Job Title : Special Education Teacher
Soliant Education is seeking a Special Education Teacher to work with students in a school district near Brattleboro, VT for the 2023 / 2024 school year. The Special Education Teacher will provide support to students with a range of disabilities and help them achieve academic and personal success.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education
Vermont State Certification in Special Education
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
Job Responsibilities :
Plan and implement individualized instruction and accommodations for students with disabilities
Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure that all students receive appropriate support
Conduct assessments and participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
Communicate regularly with families and other team members to ensure student success
