Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current or eligible Illinois state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required.
- Experience in or passion for working with children in a school environment.
- Knowledge of IEP development and the special education process is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check and meet state-specific certification requirements.
- 25/26 school year opening
- Full time preferred but open to part time
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders, including but not limited to articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide progress updates for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create a supportive learning environment for students.
- Document and maintain accurate records of student performance and therapy sessions.
- Provide consultation and support to school staff regarding speech and language development and strategies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input regarding student needs and goals.
