Minimum 1 years special education experience required.
Soliant has partnered with a Middle School in Evanston, ILand is seeking a Learning Behavior Specialist to be a co-teacher or resource teacher in Science.
Requirements :
Learning Behavior Specialist 1 certificate from the Illinois State Board of Education
1 years of experience with science instruction for Middle School students
Pay and benefits :
Hourly, W2 pay of $53to $60per hour
Health, vision and dental insurance

Description of duties :
Collaborate with diagnosticians, staff, and families to determine if students need an Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
Develop social and academic programs according to IEPs.
Plan lessons in accordance with IEP goals
Monitor student progress with a blend of informal observations and scored assessments
Present positive role model for students
Refer to munity resources aid students in dealing with emotional / physical needs
Manage student behavior and administer discipline according to IEP.
Plan and supervise activities for teacher aide(s) and / or volunteer(s)
Ensure that instructional program is pliant withcampus, district, state, and federal policies and regulations.
Maintain timely and accurate reports, records, and documents.
