We are looking for someone that has:
- Effective communication skills and ability to fill out and negotiate contracts and misc forms, using proper spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Skilled in operating office equipment including: computer, email, printer, copier, etc.
- Construction Industry experience preferred
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Ability to think on your feet, making effective decisions on a timely basis
- Highly Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel,), Adobe
- Able to use Construction Project Software: JobTread preferred
- Present a professional demeanor at all times
- Someone who is hard working, easy to get along with, self starter, highly motivated, high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, Excellent problem solving skills, high level of integrity.
Responsibilities
- Front Desk, Greet clients and visitors and provide general office support
- Coordinate projects for remodels and custom new builds with architect, sub-contractors and project managers
- Track all costs and issue change orders for upgrades and extras
- Build strong client relationships of trust through initial contact, regular support and high-quality work and communication
- Practice efficient task management using JobTread to record all tasks and meetings.
- Analyze and draw redlines on architectural and electrical plans for revisions
- Select finishes, hardware, and paint colors to meet client requests while maintaining cohesive design and staying within budget
- Provide detailed mood boards, elevations, floorplans, and alternative options for client clarification and installer accuracy
- Use Stack to provide takeoffs of square footage for bidding purposes
- Implement confident decision making using CET Designer for 3D visuals and renderings
- Collaborate with cabinet professionals to design custom cabinets
- Ability to learn new software and programs quickly.
- Experience using AutoCad, Revit, Sketchup and other design softwares.
- Organize and schedule appointments and meetings
- Take detailed minutes of meetings
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters and forms
- Assist in the preparation of reports
- Run errands and other general office duties
- Personal Assistant to Owner by coordinating schedule, travel arrangements, sending emails and any other needed assistance.
