Associate Attorney – Labor & Employment
A well-established Am 200 law firm is seeking a talented attorney with 3-4 years of litigation experience in a law firm environment handling L&E related matters.
Qualifications:

- Labor & Employment law experience
- Familiarity with employment-related laws, including:
-
- Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
- Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA)
- Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA)
- Age Discrimination in Employment Act
- Americans with Disabilities Act
- Family and Medical Leave Act
- Title VII of the Civil Rights Act

- Familiarity with employment-related laws, including:
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong writing, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Admission to practice in Florida
- Labor & Employment law experience
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on wage and hour compliance and other employment regulations
- Handle administrative actions and assist in employment litigation and arbitration
- Draft pleadings and motions
- Prepare and respond to discovery
- Participate in trials and arbitrations
