What You’ll Be Doing:

As our CAO, you’ll be the financial maestro behind the scenes, ensuring that all financial operations run as smoothly as a well-maintained golf course. You’ll take the lead in shaping financial strategies, managing budgets, and keeping us on par with the highest industry standards.

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Lead the club’s financial strategy, ensuring the budget supports our goals of providing an unparalleled member experience and growing the business.
• Financial Stewardship: Oversee accounting operations, including financial reporting, audits, tax compliance, and internal controls—keeping us financially on course.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Work closely with senior leadership to develop accurate financial forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics. You’ll be the one helping us “stay in the fairway.”
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the accounting team, creating a positive and productive environment where precision meets collaboration.
• Operational Insight: Partner with other departments to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements, all while keeping the member experience top of mind.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards—so we’re always ahead of the game, financially and legally.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• Experience: 10 years of senior accounting experience in the golf, hospitality, or membership-based sectors. We’re looking for a seasoned pro who understands both the financial and operational nuances of the industry.
• Financial Expertise: A deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance. You’ll be just as comfortable balancing the books as you are strategizing for future growth.
• Golf & Hospitality Insight: Familiarity with the unique financial aspects of running a golf club and hospitality-focused organization. Bonus points if you’ve spent some time on the course yourself!
