Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Technician to join our dynamic team in the semiconductor industry. The successful candidate will provide support for the Manufacturing Department by repairing and maintaining test equipment as well as fabricating fixtures. May be assigned to special tasks and / or projects as needed by the Manufacturing Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support to the Manufacturing Manager / Supervisor for the purpose of maintaining equipment and fabricating test fixtures.
- Repair and troubleshoot test and manufacturing equipment such as power supplies, test boxes and custom test equipment
- Must be able to troubleshoot to a component level
- Over all responsibility is to maintain SSDI's Clean Room, Assembly and Test floor equipment and perform preventive maintenance procedures of the equipment
- Perform ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) verification of equipment and work benches at all of the SSDI facilities
- Maintain inventory of parts and organization of Engineering Lab
- Interface with the Engineering Department to receive technical guidance as required
- Interface with Vendors for technical issues as required
- Interface with Manufacturing Department and Management as required
- Maintain a log book with notes, diagrams, and photos of repairs / construction of SSDI equipment and fixtures for future reference
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Electronic Engineering
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years related working experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Requires experience and a thorough knowledge of diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment systems
- Strong verbal capabilities necessary to effectively communicate with all levels of staff
Schedule: Full-time / Monday - Friday / 7:00am - 4:00pm
Salary: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour / Bi-Weekly Pay Schedule (Direct Deposit)
