What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Education and Training position at Solid Waste Association of North America?
Responsibilities
- Manage all activities associated with maintenance, promotion, delivery, and timely updates of SWANA’s certification and education programs.
- Oversee the administration of the certification program to ensure all protocols are followed.
- Create and maintain SOPs for certifications.
- Manage certification renewals, including revising messaging as needed.
- Assist in scheduling and implementing regular reviews of certification course exams and training program materials, including slide presentations and manuals.
- Create and maintain SOPs for trainings and webinars.
- Contribute materials for education-related marketing efforts.
- Assist in the development of yearly budgets, and regularly monitor financial performance of trainings and certifications.
- Manage contracts with partners and independent contractors.
- Obtain and compile feedback from partners on training efforts.
- Assist in developing and enlarging instructor pool for training programs.
- Assist in the annual conference call for proposal process, including managing volunteers.
- Identify opportunities for intra-organizational collaboration.
- Other duties as assigned.
