Job Description
Solis Applied Science is seeking Senior Image Scientist professionals for positions located in Saint Louis, MO.
Responsibilities
- Specialize in Electro Optical (EO) / Infra-Red (IR) and the other lead role will specialize in MSI / HSI as a Subject Manner Expert (SME)
- Sitting on-site with close, everyday interaction with current customer leadership and other senior government leadership
- This level of interaction requires polished communication and facilitation skills
- Working with multi-contractor / government team to generate content and briefing material that is delivered to external organizations / leadership to include : Executive branch offices, Congressional Committees, and senior DoD / IC leadership
- Provides image science expertise to conduct image / product quality analysis throughout TCPED chain
- Assess utility of image processing routines and advanced algorithms operating on today’s baseline and emerging remote sensing systems
- Investigates, analyzes, and provides solutions to complex problems encountered by engineering services and quality control using standard engineering practices
- Provides guidance and technical expertise to other engineers and leaders
