We are a stable licensed electrical contractor serving commercial, retail and industrial clients since 1994. JOB DUTIES
· Identify, target and develop opportunities to create new multi-location client lighting service and retrofit opportunities throughout the State of Texas. We typically call on clients at either a national or regional management level.
· Identify prospects in multi-location retail chains, automobile dealerships, real estate, industrial facilities and warehouses.
· A focus on selling our lighting maintenances services to both interior and outdoor lighting systems.
· Audit retail, commercial and industrial facilities including retail stores, warehouses, offices, manufacturing facilities, and car dealerships to document current lighting systems and conditions.
· Develop opportunities to upgrade existing lighting systems to new energy efficient LED lighting systems along with lighting controls that improve lighting levels and significantly reduce long term energy and maintenance costs.
· The candidate must be open to travel (at company expense) within the state of Texas as required. Our primary focus is to develop new opportunities in the Dallas, San Antonio, Austin and Houston metroplex areas.
· This is a “relationship based” sales position and we have many clients that we have serviced continuously for more than 25 years.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
· Strongly prefer a candidate with prior lighting sales experience but will consider others with strong lighting backgrounds and technical skills.
· Preferred 3-5 years of experience in the lighting industry.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Self-motivated and positive attitude
· A commitment to client satisfaction
· Willing to travel as required to call on either existing or potential new clients throughout the state of Texas.
· Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
· Clean driving record and current driver’s license.
· Prefer bachelor’s degree but will consider others with proven past lighting sales success.
· Must be detailed-oriented, able to work independently, and to autonomously manage your schedule
