On Call Scheduling Coordinator
FirstLight Home Care is looking for On-Call Staffing Coordinators’ to join our team. This position requires a compassionate individual with exceptional customer service skills and great attention to details with the ability to work on your own.
Job Summary:
The individual we hire will need to have an understanding of the ins and outs a caregiver provides to their clients. The On Call Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the schedule for FirstLight Home Care clients and Caregivers.
This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive the employee will be expected to perform other reasonable related duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Available to take phone calls after hours, designated week nights from 4pm - 8am, and every weekend Friday @ 4pm - until Monday @ 8am. Will be required to work when the office is closed for office meetings, and holidays.
- Will be required to work in the office for training.
- Respond to phone calls and adjust schedule as needs emerge
- Schedule shifts and hours by caregivers qualifications and availability to clients needs
- Communicates changes in schedule to the appropriate Caregivers as needed in a timely manner.
- Maintains documentation in system in an organized manner to facilitate accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate all data to office staff from on call in a detailed excel or word document.
- Must attend office meetings in person monthly, and zoom meetings when requested.
Qualifications:
- Non-medical caregiving knowledge
- Prior Scheduling experience
- Excellent computer skills
- Valid Driver's license, pass background check and a drug test
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Internet Connection at home
- Cell Phone with the ability to receive calls and text messages.
- Laptop to be used at home, and for in office work days
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
The On Call coordinator to join our team would be required to have excellent telephone and communication skills.
Must be a team player, work under pressure and have excellent client interaction skills.
Excellent problem solving abilities are a requirement, scheduling conflicts will arise that will require creative solutions.
At home schedule and in office schedule will be discussed at interview.
