Solomon Page has partnered with a high end retail corporation seeking a talented Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist for a temp to perm opportunity. The perfect candidate will have sales tax experience, along with at least 2 years AR / Collections experience. This role is onsite, located in South Austin, TX.
- Pay Rate: $23/hr - $27/hr (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Contact customers to remind them of overdue payments
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or disputes
- Process payments and credit adjustments
- Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and send collection letters and notices
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with customers
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years within an AR and Collections role.
- Must have sales tax experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
