What are the responsibilities and job description for the CFO - Management Consulting position at Solomon Page?
Our client is looking to fill the role of CFO - Management Consulting. You will be partnering with the CEO and the executive management team of this rapidly growing strategy, data, transformation and technology consultancy, with a dotted line up into the parent company, this opportunity to drive exponential growth both organically and by acquisition as they expand the network both domestically and internationally, will suit a driven public/private CPA or MBA who has previously experienced a rapid revenue, headcount & global footprint growth journey whilst achieving a stellar career within the management consulting industry.
- Pay: $300,000 - $400,000 100% bonus equity benefits
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for financial planning, forecasting and budgeting process with CEO and leadership team.
- Ownership of the for financial process, review and implementation of best practices as well as maintain appropriate procedures/process and controls
- Provide accurate and timely compilation and reporting of financial information in accordance with company policies.
- Responsible for review and analysis of all financial statements submitted to parent, including revenue recognition and growth/attrition, expense management and analysis versus Plans/Forecasts.
- Management and tracking of investments and non-billable activities
- Responsible for working capital management to ensure cash maximization and mitigation of credit risk
- Lead systems initiatives to drive quality and timely financial reporting as well as analysis to proactively manage revenue and profit drivers
- Drive M&A evaluation and strategic development initiatives; deliver financial analysis and insights to help drive structural and investment decisions.
- Provide scenario planning and insights to help drive operational, investment and M&A decisions.
- Lead financial development around client pricing and new business initiatives/start-ups within the Agency to ensure client profitability targets are achieved.
- Ownership of client contract and SOW review process to ensure the appropriate protection of Agency across all aspects of engagements/relationships
- Manage, mentor and develop a finance and accounting team to create a best in class function
Required Qualifications:
- 15 year experience
- Public/Private CPA or MBA
- Management Consulting industry experience required
