Assistant Controller
QUAD is seeking an Assistant Controller to join our client's Fort Myers, FL location on a contract to hire basis. In office. Local candidates only.
The Assistant Controller will be responsible for overseeing all organizational accounting functions, including assessment of current accounting operations, implementing new processes, and automating tasks.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Controller
- Overseeing capital request and budgeting processes
- Creating monitoring systems and performance measures
- Leading accounting team and related functions, including accounts payable and receivable, inventory, payroll, billing and general accounting
- Managing monthly close process
- Monitoring cash balanced and forecasts
Requirements of the Assistant Controller
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10 years financial leadership experience
- Experience with inventory, high volume cash, and ASC 847 lease accounting
- Strong data analysis and forecasting skills
- Microsoft Office and financial software proficiency
- Strong communication skills
- Public accounting and CPA a plus
Additional Details:
Employment Type: contract to hire
Compensation: $80-$82/hr
The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
