Global services company headquartered in the Philadelphia suburbs is looking to hire a Staff Accountant. Reporting to the Controller, this is a diverse role that will support various aspects of the operational accounting, monthly close, and reporting process. The Staff Accountant will have the opportunity to get involved in a number of special projects, in addition to the below key responsibilities:
- Participate in the monthly close process and financial reporting process
- Perform monthly variance analysis and revenue analytics
- Ensure a strong internal control environment and identify opportunities for improvement
- Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reporting packages
- Participate in M&A activities
- Identify ways to streamline processes and create efficiencies
The Staff Accountant must possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 1-3 years of experience
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Self-starter with the desire to undertake new challenges
